Director of Marketing
Before joining Cool Logistics, I spent 18 years at Thomson Reuters and enjoyed a varied corporate career in a big global company, with my main focus on marketing, commercial development, operational and change management roles. I was involved in some exciting global brand launches and communication projects. I was lucky to lead large and diverse operational functions and was at the head of significant change management programmes that built new global infrastructures, systems and processes.
My final role was Head of Marketing, Sales and Customer Operations for Thomson Reuters Europe, leading a team of over 100 across six different teams.
Since leaving Thomson Reuters back in 2015, I have qualified as a fitness instructor and now run my own community-based fitness business and thankfully I now also have my marketing communications hat firmly back on in my role as Director Marketing Communications for Cool Logistics. I’m responsible for promoting our brand and services to our community and beyond and am the team ‘newshound’, keeping up with the key issues of the day and making sure our community is kept up to date via our news services and newsletter.
I also work with the team to build and promote community relationships, collaborating with our cold supply chain industry and media colleagues. I’m fascinated by all things cold chain, from farm to fork and the technology that supports this important journey, and am particularly interested in food sustainability. I have a degree in German and Spanish and have spent time both working and living abroad. Finally, it will come as no surprise that in my spare time I do a lot of sport and cooking!
