As the Cool Logistics team prepares for its first ever CoolTech –  a Cool Logistics event – Managing Director of Cool Logistics Rachael White gives her view on why our new forum is a must-attend event this June.

“From pioneering early developments in refrigerated shipping, the movement of temperature-controlled perishable goods across the globe has been a catalyst for technological innovation in the maritime supply chain” says Rachael.

“We all know that Industry 4.0 technology advances in digitalisation, automation and sustainability are now accelerating. This presents both opportunities and challenges for our industry. Such rapid technological innovation will transform food, pharmaceutical, healthcare and other cold supply chains” continues Rachael.

“CoolTech is a new forum that will bring together technology users and buyers, developers, entrepreneurs and innovators, investors, educators and researchers to explore the latest tech trends. Our 2-day forum from 20-22 June at the Hilton Hotel, Rotterdam takes place in collaboration with Port of Rotterdam. We will provide a platform to showcase, debate and discuss all-things cooltech” she explains.

“We are looking forward to seeing our Cool community in person once more – it has been a long time since we were able to meet as a community!”.
