A customer in the UK has shared the results of a multi-year refrigerant performance evaluation on its truck and trailer refrigeration systems, showing that a combination of R-452A refrigerant and Carrier’s all-electric E-Drive technology delivered close to a 50% reduction in carbon emissions from its unit.

Port of Antwerp, Foodcareplus, Dockflow, and TrakAssure announce a service offering cargo temperature condition monitoring

Europe’s first end-to-end LoRaWAN based cargo temperature monitoring service has been announced by Port of Antwerp, foodcareplus, Dockflow, and TrakAssure. The solution utilises existing LoRaWAN infrastructure at the port.  TrakAssure monitors are installed at the port at load location and data streams into Dockflow’s servers via API. This allows it to be shared with relevant stakeholders in the cold chain.
