Andy has been involved in import/export supply chain logistics, both dry goods & perishables for over 30 years, Andy consults to the broader import/export community as a logistics specialist- also doing special tasks for the fruit industry bodies. Prior to this he worked almost 8 years for the Dole Fresh Fruit Food Group in South Africa and Mozambique. He has been involved in chartering both specialised reefer vessels and cargo aircraft and is equally comfortable with air, overland and sea freight logistics. Andy keeps on top of industry changes by writing course material and lecturing part time in Southern Africa and has written a number of accredited courses in container logistics & perishable import /export.
