Andrew Lorimer is a seasoned executive with 25 years’ experience in the maritime trade information sector and has been the Chief Executive Officer of Datamar for 16 years. He holds an MA in Economics from Heriot Watt University, in Edinburgh, following an education split between Brazil and Scotland. Andrew collaborates on public / private initiatives with Brazilian government entities, to help develop solutions towards issues of cyber-security within the sector, including matters related to increased hacking and ransomware activity as well as illegal access to government databases.
