Consumer attitudes to shopping in response to the pandemic across 17 global markets were explored in a comprehensive survey, finding that the majority of consumers have changed their habits in more ways than one.
Changes in how food purchases were made, what sort of goods were purchased and how often were revealed. Big findings include significant increases in click and collect food shopping services together with more purchases of ‘store cupboard’ items in order to reduce the number of trips to the supermarket.
