Ecuador’s banana exports down

Estimated loss of over $258 million, and -6,57% decrease in exports from January to December 2022

2022 was a difficult year for Ecuador’s banana export industry. Ecuador, the world leader in banana exports, had an estimated loss of over $258 million, and -6,57% decrease in exports from January to December 2022. This large drop is mainly due to the Russian war in Ukraine, internal strikes and the dollar appreciation against the Euro

Unit45 has developed a new diesel-electric reefer in collaboration with its client H.Essers

Unit45, based in Rotterdam, has developed a new diesel-electric reefer in collaboration with its client H.Essers, which is a Belgian logistics solutions provider.

This newly developed diesel-electric reefer was designed with a 900-litre tank, making it 100 litres larger in capacity than the previous version.
