Leading reefer monitoring supplier now counts over 70,000 terminal-based reefer points monitored globally

Although the company does not disclose its customers, it is widely believed that they include some of the world’s largest transhipment hubs.  70,000 terminal-based reefer points across the globe is an impressive number given that ports typically host 2,500 to 3,000 points.

Europe’s first end-to-end LoRaWAN based cargo temperature monitoring service has been announced by Port of Antwerp, foodcareplus, Dockflow, and TrakAssure. The solution utilises existing LoRaWAN infrastructure at the port.  TrakAssure monitors are installed at the port at load location and data streams into Dockflow’s servers via API. This allows it to be shared with relevant stakeholders in the cold chain.
