Cool Logistics Asia Congress and China International Fresh Foods Circulation Congress team up to strengthen links across the Asian logistics sector
SHANGHAI / HONG KONG & BERLIN, 24.08.2016 – Fresh produce logistics relies on a concerted effort to develop a seamless chain between different service partners. China will remain the main trading partner for the majority of perishable commodities along the Intra-Asia (maritime) trades for the foreseeable future according to Netherlands-based Ronald Veldman, maritime business analyst at Seabury Group LLC.
Mr. Veldman, who will be the opening speaker at Cool Logistics Asia on September 7 at Asia World Expo, emphasizes that especially in times of changing trade patterns this will be an important message for this year’s conference, featuring speakers such as Isabella Hu from Cosco Container Lines, Liu Wei from Quanfeng Group and Li Haolun from jd.com.
“It is a pleasure that the organisers of Cool Logistics Asia and the Agricultural Cold Chain Logistics Professional Committee (ACCC) can announce that they have concluded a mutually beneficial agreement to market each other’s events,” Alex von Stempel, Managing Director, Cool Logistics Resources said.
The International Fresh Foods Circulation Congress (FFCC) has established strong links with more than 100 Government agencies, transport associations and representatives from Chambers of Commerce. The organisation aims to meet the demand of a rapidly developing market for fresh foods and logistics.
“ACCC and its members are looking forward to working together with Cool Logistics Asia and exchange and develop new business opportunities,” Secretary-General of ACCC Wan Ifeng said.
The Agricultural Cold Chain Logistics Professional Committee (ACCC) under the China Communications and Transportation Association will hold the 2nd China International Fresh Food Circulation Congress on Nov. 6th-8th, 2016 in Shanghai.
Cool Logistics Asia congress is co-located with ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA the only trade show for the fresh fruit and vegetable business in Asia, at AsiaWorld-Expo on 7 September 2016 in Hong Kong.“Fresh produce and protein remain the two largest food categories traded and transported internationally. Working together with ACCC will help create a greater understanding between international logistics operators and transportation service providers and ensure that both frozen and fresh food distribution continue to be as safe, reliable and cost-efficient as possible,” said Alex von Stempel, Managing Director of Cool Logistics Resources.
Cool Logistics Asia will bring together key international buyers involved in the transportation and logistics of perishables.
